Chinese Wind & Solar Grid Integration Conference 2014 was Successfully Held in Beijing

August 7th-8th, 2014, Chinese Wind & Solar Grid Integration Conference 2014 was successfully held in Beijing. The conference focused on gird integration of renewable energy and its sustainable development, which attracted about 200 participants from grid companies, research institutes, manufacturers home and abroad.

The conference was hosted by the National Wind Power Integration Research and Test Center (NWIC), National Energy Solar Center (NESC), and supported by China Wind Power Programme –Research and Training (GIZ-CWPP II). And was co-hosted by Beijing Jipeng Investment Information and Consulting Ltd., Energynautics GmbH (Wind Integration Workshop organizers) and the periodical Power System Technology.

The president of China Electric Power Research Institute, Mr. Yao Liangzhong, the Director of Sino-German Wind Power Programme, Mr. DuBois and the CEO of Energynautics were present at the conference and delivered speeches for the conference.

The conference provided an exchange platform for technical, management and R& D staff in renewable energy generation and integration field, and it explored the new challenges to power system analysis, operation, scheduling, security and stability caused by large-scale wind and solar integration, and promoted technical development and application in renewable energy integration mainly represented by wind and solar energy so as to promote solutions to large-scale renewable energy grid integration.
